The cannon the Institute leant us has been packed away.

I had no trouble finding the university.  Finding Helene in the university might have been difficult if I hadn’t remembered that she was always hacking her way into the tropical greenhouses back in school.  It didn’t take long from there.  I found Helene talking with a grad student.  They were repotting something with giant hanging flowers like a fishing line full of hooks.

It was good to catch up with her.  She’s much happier working botany and teaching.  She was pleased to hear that they’re making pretty good progress on Spacer’s Rheumatism.  Helene hadn’t heard that Jenny is working the main library for the University of Montreal.  So, I talked a bit about what I understood of her work on classification.  I also talked a little about the work I find myself doing.  Freelance Captain of a small general research starship.  She pestered me enough that I gave her Jenny’s contact information.  I gather she wants to try and get a proper university partnership.  The University of Montreal could ship the Human University of Terran Plants actual Terran plants, which would be a great way to save money, or at least pay in kind rather than coin.
