Fury made it back late last night.  They said it was a good meditation.  This morning Bo and I hit up the mission board.  There were a ton of missions and even four that we could take.  I was surprised to see one from the University of Montreal.  My sister Cassie works there in the library and they’re working on curing her Spacer’s Rheumatism.  We pinged the rest of the crew and they agreed to take all of them.

So, now the Brothers of Furious Metal are bringing thirteen guard hounds.  We have 7 cycles to deliver them to Forge.  They are a gift to a generous benefactor that lives there and owns many factories.  We are to receive 1430 nubucks if we can deliver within the deadline.

I’ve also received a collection of 32 microbiological samples for analysis.  The University of Windsong Caprise farmed out some basic characterization work.  It will be good to keep my hand in with lab work and once I’m done they will pay 320 nubucks.

The quest from Montreal is a set of coordinates and a request that a crew do a basic report on a planet they believe is there.  They particularly want to know what the atmosphere is like as they found it with one of the giant space telescopes and want to prove a theory about how to interpret the data on the atmosphere.  They will share it with the Federation with us down as the survey crew.  They will also pay 1660 nubucks.

We also took on a passenger with no other options.  Monk Telluride is able to pay 200 nubucks to go to an uncharted planet at BJ,R4.  Interestingly he also eats wood like Bo.  He looks sort of like a very long armed Orangutan, though I noticed that his legs looked rather withered.

We purchased an extra 10 bamboo packs for 20 nubucks.  Now we have 19 bamboo available.  The crew agreed and Telluride said that beggars can’t be choosy, so we are off to Forge as soon as the dogs are on board.
