We have 10 veggie packs, 7 bamboo packs, and 5 tasty rocks.

The aliens left a message etched on a rock that faces the ship.  Bo managed to figure out that it basically says “Trade? Veggies, Tools, Rocks? What is your offer?  The documentarian is delighted that risking the crew got a filmable result.  We engaged in a bit of making piles and sorting piles.  They think the bits of titanium and tungsten we have on board are interesting.  It basically boils down to, we can buy food here.  We bought 4 veggie packs, 3 long stick-like bits, and 2 meals of rock for the equivalent of 18 nubucks.  The documentarian is really an ass he talks about these people are primitives as long as the cameras aren’t recording.
