We have 34 veggie packs, 25 bamboo packs, and 17 tasty rocks.

The computer loaded an update overnight.  Slash was on the helm and the computer didn’t notify him of the update.  Everyone is a little irritated by it, but mostly just because it reminds us of when the computer locked up earlier.

After a discussion with the crew everyone agrees that I should use this time to get through that awful research we’ve been stuck with.  No one likes it, but no one came up with a good reason not to do it.  Terranova demanded that I check with the crew each day to ensure that I stopped when anyone changed their mind.  I agreed immediately.

I learned a great deal including spotting a sort of bottle neck in the genome that limits the ways it can evolve.  I completed 25 observations.
