We have 62 veggie packs, 43 bamboo packs, 36 tasty rocks, and 124 fuel.  We have docked at Cog.

The Federation representative handed us another Exploration mission.  On looking I realized that it must be in an asteroid field that the Installation asked us to investigate.  At least we don’t have to deal with another documentary crew, and the reward is 1670 nubucks.

I found the Uplifters and asked them about working with a Ship AI that had partially uplifted itself.  Several felt such AI’s were awful fools.  One of them disagreed.  AI’s uplift themselves because they want what the uplifters offer but don’t have access, so it is a compliment.  They also believe that all AI’s should be helped to reach their full potential.  They gave me their contact information to pass to the AI.  It will cost 4000 nubucks and take 5 cycles to complete.

Terranova and I spoke in private that evening.  When she expressed concern about the cost I assured her it was worth it.
