I worked with Slash on the botanicals.  We were able to complete 18 observations.

When we were done with that we met the only response to our call for a short term crewmate.  Jeremiah Rex is a Physicist and a teacher.  He has agreed to fly with us for six months, ending on 1036.9.30.  As we approach that date he can decide if he wants to stay with us.  He is a middle aged fox man that is missing his right foot and with a large nasty scar across his throat.  The blow across his throat means he is not able to speak while the missing foot has led to him walking with a cane.  He’ll be teaching physics and helping with our physics research while we travel the galaxy.

I’ll be teaching Bo the Teacher skill, so that he can teach people how to be linguists.  Onyx is teaching Terranova how to fight.  Jerry is teaching Slash how to do physics research.

The crew and I thanked Yeratel for their help before they left to join the monastery they selected.  Onyx was particularly grateful.
