We have 72 veggie packs, 54 bamboo packs, 36 tasty rocks, 36 meat packs, and 128 fuel.  Four cycles out from Windsong.

Bo has gotten damp and is beginning to smell like a stagnant lake.  I noticed, it reminded me of good times with the molemen digging in mines.  We laughed a little about the mess.

Jerry and I began scanning for the pinhole wormholes that are supposed to be here.  We completed 40 observations scanning the EM spectrum for light near the holes.  We were shocked to hear local space radio transmissions.  There are at least two speakers, one is a Dr Lilia Twile of the Progress Terraforming Installation.  They may be a mechanical sapient.  The other is unidentified and less formal.

I setup the local space radio to transmit.  My message was “Bonjour Hello, this is Dr Nathanial Juniper, Captain of the independent research vessel Celestial Diviner.  Who am I speaking with?  Also, is the phenomena on your side a pinhole wormhole as well?”

We received replies.  Captain Everett of an unnamed vessel.  From the sounds over the com channel they may be an egalitarian group.  There are humans, but they have horns.  Also, they evolved on Unity some 302k years ago.  This group knows of the charted worlds and Cog was called out as a mechanical world.  They report their location as A,K.  Someone other than Everett asked what color space is, as they see it as black.  They also asked whether the planets are the same for us.  Everett does not see the wormhole on his side, though it must be present.

The other is from Dr Twile on the Emergent Crocus.  Dr Twile is not a human but one of their Co-captains is human without horns.  Their vessel released a small bottle through the wormhole.  The wormhole on their side appears to be supported by the sort of artifacts that can be found on Ruin.  They asked if we have an uncharted world at R4,RQ.  They reported their location as RA,RK.

Both groups report the B quadrants are incorporated into the federation.

I reported that we had not seen the container and that the wormhole on our side was producing a pretty good light show, but did not have supporting devices.  I reported our coordinates as RA,RK as well as the locations of uncharted worlds we knew about.
