I’ve paid for another guided hike and Terranova stayed with me.  This one is to a large waterfall not far from the port.  Terranova is a bit grumpy this cycle as the crew finishing the installation talked the whole time about a Celebration of Life.  After they left I asked, and this particular celebration includes an assumption that mechanical sapients aren’t really life.

I was able to complete the observations called for and delivered the report to the Federation Secretary.  They were pleased to get the research so quickly, but not pleased that it wasn’t definitive.

Next cycle Bo and I will check the local mission boards and buy food so that we have supplies for 20 cycles.  We depart the cycle after that.
