 Location – RA,RA – Eugeon

We have 98 veggie packs, 20 bamboo packs, 98 tasty rocks, 14 meat packs, and 86 fuel.

We have landed near one of the urban areas and are going to try to interview several of the locals, especially people who know a great deal about their world.

The people here are rather satyr-like.  They have goat legs and lower bodies covered in curly hair as well as curly hair on their heads with hairless upper bodies.  They have 3 fingers and an opposable digit on their hands while their legs end in cloven hooves.  Bo assisted me in interviewing several people, beginning with a herdsman who was herding big fuzzy ostrich beasts.  He called them Osir and his name was Sathyr.  He proved willing to talk with us while his niece, who was assisting, went for the Teacher.  He let us know that we had landed on the Lord’s Common which is freely available for all to use.  When the Teacher came Sathyr left, taking his birds with him.  The Teacher’s name was Aristolos.  The Teacher’s are both educators and priests.  The planet is called Eugeon and this country is the Land of the Helenois.  Aristolos was astonished at the variety of people on our ship but let us know that there are many different peoples speaking many different languages on Eugeon.  One nearby people call the planet Terra Felix, for example.  We spoke for quite a while and shared both a midday and an evening meal.  After the meal Aristolos asked if we were going to stay for several days to speak with the local Lord.  I told him that we probably wouldn’t be able to stay as we were just scouts looking for people to trade with and learn from.  Aristolos understood that, as the Helenois have a long history of merchant sailors scouting lands for markets.

They gave us food for tomorrow and thanked us for visiting.  I let him know we were going to be mapping the physical land of Eugeon.
